How We Handle Collection From Midrand
Collections are arranged from our Midrand base by prior confirmation on the enquiry form. Once your order is ready, we will confirm the collection point, timing and any loading details so the handover is quick and orderly.
If you are collecting for a workshop in Johannesburg, Pretoria or the East Rand, bring suitable transport and make sure the vehicle can handle the packed size and weight. Smaller presses are easier to load, but larger units still need care, especially if you are fitting them into a bakkie with other stock.
- Collection is by arrangement only
- Please wait for confirmation before sending a driver
- Check that your vehicle has enough space and tie-downs
- Inspect the packaging before leaving the premises
Courier Delivery Across South Africa
For customers outside Midrand, we can arrange courier delivery to Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, the Western Cape, the Free State and other parts of the country. This works well for print shops in Durban, Cape Town and Bloemfontein, as well as smaller businesses working from home or from shared workshop space.
Courier delivery is suitable for most flat heat presses, spares and support items. We package the machine carefully and share the consignment details so you can plan who will receive it on site. If your premises have limited access or a guardhouse with strict receiving times, please mention it early so we can plan properly.
- Nationwide courier options are available
- Delivery times depend on route and volume
- Remote areas may take longer than major city routes
- Someone must be available to receive the parcel
What To Check When The Press Arrives
When your press is delivered, check the outer packaging before signing for it. Look for dents, crushed corners, punctures or signs that the parcel was dropped. If there is obvious damage, note it with the driver immediately and keep the packaging in case we need to assess it.
After unpacking, confirm that the frame, platen surfaces, controller, power lead and any extras are present. If you are missing a part or something looks out of place, contact us through the enquiry form as soon as possible. A quick check at the start saves time later, especially when you need the machine ready for jobs that week.
- Inspect the carton before signing
- Keep all packaging until you are happy the unit is complete
- Check for loose fittings before first use
- Report any shortage or transit damage straight away
Setup Support For First Use
We can talk you through first setup so your press is ready for garments, transfers and production testing. This includes placement, power checks, basic temperature verification and pressure adjustment guidance. If your team is new to heat pressing, we will help you avoid common mistakes like uneven pressure or starting at the wrong temperature.
For shops in areas where load-shedding is still affecting working hours, we also advise on sensible startup checks after power interruptions. A clean power supply matters on digital controllers and heating elements, so it is worth taking a few minutes to reset and verify the reading before production resumes.
- Position the press on a level, stable surface
- Allow enough clearance around the machine
- Confirm the incoming power rating before switching on
- Test temperature and pressure on offcuts first
Training And Handover For Operators
Delivery is not only about getting the machine to your door. We also support operators with practical handover guidance so they can use the press correctly from day one. That covers basic operation, safety, pressure settings, timer use and how to get consistent results on different garment types.
If your business runs shifts or has more than one operator, we can discuss training for the people who will actually use the machine. This is useful for small print shops in Pretoria or West Rand workshop spaces where staff may rotate between printing, pressing and packing.
When You Need Support After Delivery
After the machine is delivered and running, our support team can assist with phone troubleshooting, temperature checks, pressure adjustments, controller repairs, pad and covering work, and preventive servicing. If a part is worn or the unit is not heating evenly, do not keep pushing production until it is checked.
We also supply spares and can advise on loan unit support where appropriate. That helps reduce downtime when you have a busy week of T-shirt orders or transfer jobs and cannot afford to wait for a full workshop turn-around.
- Phone support is available for basic fault finding
- Workshop repairs are arranged when a physical inspection is needed
- Preventive servicing helps avoid surprise breakdowns
- Spare parts can be supplied as needed
What To Tell Us Before Dispatch
Before a press leaves Midrand, give us the details that affect delivery and setup. Tell us whether the machine is going to a home studio, retail shop or industrial print room, and mention access issues such as stairs, narrow doors or restricted receiving times.
It also helps to say whether you need setup support, operator training, or a call-back after delivery. That way we can prepare the right handover and save you from extra back-and-forth. A little planning at this stage keeps the whole process smooth, and it means your team can get started with less hassle.
- Delivery address and receiving contact details
- Site access notes and parking instructions
- Whether you need training or technical support
- Any urgent deadline for commissioning
